Our Philosophy

The Retirement Plan Services Group of First American Bank provides full service capabilities to Plan Sponsors and their retirement plan participants. The group’s management and senior staff are experienced professionals who average nearly 30 years industry experience and organization tenure of over 15 years. These professionals have attained the highest recognized industry designations including CPA, JD, Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), CFA, and Enrolled Actuary. Our clients benefit from this depth of knowledge in all areas such as Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Plans, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, Deferred Compensation Plans, Non-Qualified Plans, and related services.

Our Client Base

The Retirement Plan Services Group client profiles are privately-held middle and lower middle market businesses, non-profit organizations, and local governmental bodies. Although many of our clients are headquartered in the greater Chicagoland area, we serve clients located throughout the country. Types of clients include manufacturers, professional and service entities, contractors, consulting firms, financial institutions, hospitals, municipalities, and similar organizations.

Our clients may have a few employees or several hundred. We can accommodate remote employee locations utilizing cost effective web-based solutions, or we can arrange on-site visits. Our goal is to provide the best solution in a cost effective manner utilizing flexible service and pricing models. Whether we are engaged for a consulting assignment to address compliance or related issues, or we are providing a complete solution including recordkeeping, administration, and investments, our ability to customize client solutions will benefit the Plan Sponsors and their participants.
