If I could give this bank and Dawn, specifically, negative stars I would! My parents have had this bank for a very long time and I really don't know why, they are horrible and Dawn is the most awful person I have ever met. After my father passed away in September, 2020, I have been caring for my mom, paying her bills, making sure she has food, basically making sure all her needs have been met. We added my name to her bank account so I could more easily take care of things. In December, 2021, I lost my 25 year old son and then got Covid. As I was grieving and sick for months, my mom and I were working together as a family, I was still caring for her and she was helping me take care of some of my bills. In July of 2022, Dawn took it upon herself to accuse me of stealing my mom's money and calling adult family services, she went outside her scope by over involving herself in our family and lying about the circumstances. What Dawn did was beyond unprofessional, it was abusive! The stress and trauma that our family was experiencing was exacerbated by Dawn's abusive behavior. When we tried to close the account, Dawn refused to let my mom close her account, and she was rude to me and my daughters whenever we brought my mom to the bank. Dawn only knows a small part of what is going on with our family and has no business sticking her nose in the middle of a situation that she has no knowledge of, she is a bank employee who shouldn't even be that and she caused our family more trauma than we were already experiencing! She should be fired and everyone should avoid this bank at all costs!
This bank is quite literally the worst bank in the world, specifically because of Dawn. However the bank as a whole is trash, they do not care about their customers or helping deal with scammers. My families experiences with this bank and Dawn have been less than delightful and I wholeheartedly believe she should be fired. This awful excuse for a woman has been taking advantage of my elderly grandma and has been verbally abusive to my mom and I have witnessed it myself. She has gone out of her way to involve herself in my families business and thinking she has a right to tell my grandma what she can and can’t do, as well as my mom who is caring for my grandma. Dawn also refused to close my grandmas account after she was asked by my grandma herself, Dawn also told the entire bank she is the only one allowed to deal with any of my grandmas financials which I do not understand how that is allowed. Dawns behavior makes me think she is trying to steal from my grandma herself, while trying to put the blame on my family. Her rude/abusive attitude is beyond unprofessional and she has added trauma to mine and my families lives after losing my grandpa and twin brother (which she is aware of). After all these awful experiences with Dawn I decided to close my account with first American bank which I was doing that with another banker. Dawn rudely took it upon herself to stick her nose into my business and look over the bankers shoulder that I was working with to look at my account and my personal information which she had no right to do. I can’t understand why she has gone so out of her way to make myself and my family feel so uncomfortable and unsafe. Dawn has been nothing but a terrible human being and this bank itself is not one I would recommend to anyone.

Their new "practice" of not offering a balance when you withdraw $ is shameful. You have to pay $2 service fee to obtain a balance. Prior is used to be automatically on your w/draw statement. A heck of a way to earn some extra $!!!!!
