Just great good people, I walk out so happy
Good banking for the most part
In the past I lacked adequate banking knowledge to perform a particular transaction that was apparently a red flag. I know that it isn’t the banks responsibility to help customers perfect their documentation or give instructions or guidance, however, that would have been better than red flagging a customer that is apparently ignorant of certain information. As a result the Meadoview Branch went on to discriminate against me. I went in to the branch on 10/07/2024 to open a nonprofit account, a business account and a Trust account after obtaining the business banking check list from Karla Battrell on 10/05/2024. I showed up with the documents from the check list then went so far as to having Ms. Battrel Notarize the Corporate resolutions. After receiving my documentation Ms. Battrel informed me that they would have to further look over my documentation to have my accounts approved for opening. I asked why I couldn’t have an account opened right now and she offered no good answer. I suggested that was irregular but decided to move forward anyway. She went on then asked something of her supervisor then came back and told me that both trustees had to be present to open the account. I informed her of the purpose of the corporate resolutions authorizing me to open the accounts. The supervisor, reiterated the need for the trustees present, I reiterated the purpose of the corporate resolutions. She listened with disregard then made a statement of which I can’t exactly recall, to which I responded with there was no need to be facetious. I then told Ms. Battrel that I wanted to move forward with the nonprofit and the business account but the supervisor discriminated against me by rejecting my applications and threatening to close my personal accounts. I have been damaged by this action. It has cost opportunity, time and money. I seek to be made whole from this event and look forward to remedy.
Worst bank in Kankakee area I personally wouldn’t recommend this bank to anyone of color
