I've been banking with First American for about 10 years. I was initially attracted by one of their promotions, but their impeccable customer service and their personable and small-town feel has kept me there.
Wow. They actually had the nerve to ask me to write a review. Where to start? They don't listen. They don't respond. They don't follow up with dissatisfied customers. They keep sending surveys in which I give them honest, yet stern, criticism. No follow up. A couple years ago we applied for a HELOC. Without sharing personal details here, let's just say that we're VERY healthy financially.....VERY HEALTHY. VERY, VERY f - - - ing HEALTHY. Solid gold. We were denied with no explanation. Complaints and inquiries went unaddressed. Crappy surveys were likewise ignored. If you want to maintain some little utility checking account with these guys, do it, but if you have any actual "banking" to do......go somewhere else. Then you can see their response that they posted. That's what they took from my reviews and my surveys? That's the issue? That I don't want to complete any more surveys? Idiots. SMH.
I have been banking at First American for over 30 years. They are the best! They are responsive and nice, even to this Boomer, lol. I highly recommend them!
